The Knight's Quest

The Middletown High School Stadium hosted it's last varsity football game on October 31st, 2008. The participants took time to thank those who have made the current improvements possible. The time was taken to honor all veterans from all branches of military service. The Amvets Post 9 of Middletown made it possible for the award winning color guard from Hagerstown to present the colors on this special evening. Students from MHS submitted names of MHS graduates who are now or who have served in the Armed forces of the United States for special recognition on the new scoreboard throughout the entire evening. If you have additions to that list that you want recognized please send them to theMHSStadiumProject.   Please include the veterans name, MHS graduation year and service branch.

As the lights go off and the stadium goes quiet for the winter please don't let the project go silent. We need to be prepared to start the final steps of the stadium renovation with the construction of the rest rooms, concessions and ADA accessible entrance. To complete this we need to get your help. The plans have been approved, the construction has been scheduled but we need to pay for it and that's where we need your help!

We need you to finish this!

Now that the fall sports’ season is over and the winter weather has begun the committee will not have an opportunity to touch the stadium again until next spring when the last spring team sport has completed its schedule of games. The committee is using this time to secure the 1.9 million dollars in pledges it needs to get the funding to finish the project we started.
